概览
《雨钟》围绕艺术家故乡一口已经消失的钟展开。根据村中老人的回忆，泉儿沟村曾有一座龙王庙，庙前悬挂着一口大钟，与当地的祈雨仪式和民间信仰密切相关。1958年“大炼钢铁”时期，这口钟被作为金属资源熔炼。
作品在村庄中部署雨量传感器，将当地降雨实时转化为数据并通过网络传输。当雨发生时，展览空间中的钟影像与声音随数据变化而逐渐出现。
通过这一过程，《雨钟》尝试使一个已经消失的地方性物件，以网络化、实时性的方式重新被感知，并重新建立展览空间与遥远地点之间的联系。
