EXILED LAND

Key words: VR game, Religious spirituality, Non-linear narrative

My hometown once had a Dragon King Temple, a symbol of harmonious weather and prosperity. However, it suffered destruction during the Cultural Revolution in the 1960s and 70s, deeply affecting the local religious spirit. To preserve this history, I used a game engine to create a VR interactive space that merges the scenes of the abandoned temple and village with the celestial landscapes found in traditional Chinese murals. In this virtual space, players take on the role of a sheep, exploring the stories and cultural relics of this land from a non-human perspective.
